tl; dr; musta got lost
The J. Geils Band, one of the few bands named for the guitar player (John “J” Geils) and not the lead singer, was formed in 1968 in Worcester, MA, approximately 60 miles west of Boston. I, sadly, never got to see them perform but I’ve always like this live version of Musta Got Lost.
It wasn’t until the early 2000’s that I realized that Peter Wolf fully had his rap on in 1977.
